FUNDRAISING IDEAS

To enter the IGA Amazing Chase you need to raise a minimum of $400. These funds will assist the Leukaemia Foundation to continue to provide support and care for patients and their families, as well as fund vital medical research.

Fundraising activities are only limited by your imagination (as long as they are legal, ethical and in keeping with the ethos of the Foundation and IGA).

To help you have a fun and rewarding fundraising experience, we have put together a few ideas as a starting point.

• Ask your suppliers to provide items for a raffle. Sell tickets to customers, staff, family and friends.
• Set a fundraising challenge between other IGA stores for a bit of healthy competition.
• Raffle a “Paid Day Off Work” among staff. The winner gets a day off work.
• Eyes down for a full house - hold a bingo evening, charging admission.
• Skip lunch - get workmates to donate their lunch money.
• Hit the right note - organise a musical concert and charge an attendance fee.
• Stage a local fashion show.
